Le Brutalisme is a conceptual book that houses a collection of both famous and unknown brutalist architecture from different eras and parts of the world.
The illustration style came from matching the nature of brutalism to the forward-facing composition. Mimicking the largeness and rough grandeur of these massive concrete buildings, the illustrations are boxy and straight. Contrastingly, the colors are saturated and the use of gradients bring an air of life to the pieces.
